I'm sorry, but in that article, Redline did horrible.

Royal Purple, Valvoline Durablend, and Penrite Synthetic were the best performers.

And AMSOIL wasn't tested ... I've been trying to figure out why.

But, do they recomment MT-90 in THEIR transmissions or in the stock one? MT-90 is good stuff ... likely better than the stock transmission itself ... I recall reading about a few failures using straight MT-90.

i called up RP and actually found out that was for automatic transmission fluids only because they did not back it up with there warranty but since then they have came up with a new ATF which is backed up with there warranty and is now safe to use... but that was never the case on a 5 speed transmission. I have not found anything on there website stating it is not recommended for Mitsubishi's

Redline is garbage, unless you go shockproof level 3, the highest one.

RP from what I've been gathering is ok, but I didn't hear any significant gain from it from stock fluids. it's just purple and cost more money.

lol

The shock proof level 3 is garbage for our cars.

That is what was in my car that turned into the green guacomole.

No heavier than the level 1 per Shep Trans.
