PostSubject: S-Evo 1/4 mile registry   Sat Jul 21, 2007 4:00 am

To offer some friendly competition amongst friends, lets all post our 1/4 mile times here. Keeping track of this will help the members set goals for their own times and help novices get an idea of who could maybe help them improve their times.

If you have a copy of your timeslip, please post a link to it. If not, you can just post the data from it. When someone posts a new time, I will add it here in the frist post. Only your fastest time will be kept in this first post. Times will be listed from fastest to slowest.

I'm not sure if location is crucial info .. we can divulge is anyone asks about it. And remember to link to slips if you can. I'll post mine up in a sec.

Updated the first post with new times.

Posting the slips isn't really for credibility guys, it's mainly for comparison. Like, if someone runs a 12.8 and wonders why they are slower than so-and-so, they can compare and look at 1/8 mile times and traps and such and find the difference and where they can improve.

That was just a track assigned number. Basically I was the 18th person to pay to Test-N-Tune. hehe

That was a IX on stock boost. His best that night was 12.35 @ 110.71 on 22 psi.
whats really sucks is I was putting down 1.7-1.8 60' times and his were 2.2!!!

22 psi isn't stock boost ... stock peaks at 21 and runs at like 18. We need to look at your tune man ... get that WBO2.

Yeah on stock boost he was running that first timeslip, but he was cranking up his MBC to 22 psi before the night was over!

I'm going to do the Innovate soon. Where should I go for the welding on the DP? I shouldn't need an actual guage for the WB right? Just a tactrix cable and the basic set-up will be OK?

Yeah, you can just use the tactrix. I'm not a fan of WBO2 gauges. I'd contact Walker about the bung welding. I know he can do it really nice and clean for you, and he can TIG (I think thats the stick welding) too. www.mpfab.com He was on EvoSE, but I don't think he's made it here. He'll probably charge a little more, but it will be worth it.

I had mine done in Atlanta and they didn't make the hole big enough for my sensor, so the had to go in with a drill and clearance .. they hit some of the threads in the process. They also nearly burnt through the pipe with the MIG.

Like I said, try to get it inside of the pipe a little rather than just placed on top. Walker will know whats best though.

Guys, I added a "Bests" section in the first post. If you have some good numbers that didn't exactly equal your fastest 1/4, it might fit in the "Bests" section. Post it up.
